Leann & Scott Baughman
Leann has been attending Allen street with her family Since October 2019, she is a wife to Scott who is a Missouri State Highway Patrolman, they have three children Gabe, Sam , and Gracie. They have lived in Clinton since 2013. They both serve in a local Celebrate Recovery Ministry; Leann has a passion for music and wants to share the love of Christ with her community. Her family loves bike riding, skateboarding, and watching movies at home. We are excited to be a part of what God is doing at Allen Street!
Richard & Sandy Swanagon
Sandy and Richard have been at Allen Street nearly as long as it has been in existence. Sandy leads one of our largest ongoing ministries: AWANA. Each year Sandy brings an excitement and joy to working with kids. Since 1999 when AWANA began at Allen Street, we have seen hundreds come to know Christ as their Savior. This year we have already seen over 1500 sections passed in AWANA. That represents well over 3000 verses memorized.
Richard and Sandy work side by side in the ministries in which they serve. Richard is the timekeeper for AWANA and is always willing to help with all the crazy ideas Sandy comes up with. He also serves as head of finance with our finance team, making sure all our tithes and offerings are being spent in a sound, ethical way to reach as many people for Jesus as we can. Sandy is also our coordinator and principle facilitator for our Financial Peace University as well as facilitating growth groups in her home. Richard and Sandy have been married since 1975 and have two great children. Jennifer and her husband Brady live in Clinton and serve at Allen Street. Jason and his wife Alicia live in Wyoming with two of our grand boys! Since Richard and Sandy are both recently retired, they enjoy going to Wyoming to visit and creating unique crafts out of wood.
Tommy & Heather Cummings
Tommy and Heather have been married since 1999. They were married at Allen Street by our own Pastor Roger House. They have been attending Allen Street since 2013, serving in several different areas of the church. Tommy and Heather can usually be found having fun with the kids during the Allen Street Kids children's church.
Tommy and Heather have 2 children of their own, Kloe, and Seth. Kloe is currently pursuing her degree in teaching. Seth will be graduating high school in 2021. Kloe helps teach the preschool class in Allen Street Kids and also helps her mother teach during AWANA. Seth is an active football player and enjoys hanging out with his friends and attending StrikeZone on Wednesdays.
In 2015, Tommy heard his calling to children's ministry. He began teaching children and now he is one of the children's ministers in our children's church. Tommy is also involved with the AWANA ministry, as much fun as he likes to have with the kids it is no surprise that he is the games leader on Wednesday evenings. Tommy has also recently taken on the VBS ministry and enjoys having fun and leading kids to become followers of Christ.
Heather has served with Tommy in Allen Street Kids as a teacher and project leader. She is currently teaching 3rd-5th grade and is the brains behind the big projects that the kids get to participate in. According to the kids she plans some of the best projects. Heather loves to see kids smile and hear them tell their parents about the cool things they do on Sunday. She also teaches the kindergarten class on Wednesday evenings during AWANA.
Heather and Tommy both love to see the kids smile and have fun. They both love being a part of the kids lives and leading them to become faithful followers of Christ. They are both passionate about the children's ministry and look forward to seeing what God has in store them.
